March 31 – April 02
The Best of Texas
The Best of Texas is much more than just a food and wine event. This weekend long event has been created to showcase the growing number of local vineyards, breweries, distilleries, retailers, artists, local musicians and gourmet food fares blessing the Texas Hill Country, and beyond.
This spring, The Best of Texas will take place from Friday, March 31st through Sunday April 2nd; an annual event, reoccurring every year the first weekend in April (The start of the Texas Bluebonnet Season). While the event is a private for profit festivity, it will also benefit several local charities, including the Pioneer Museum and the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts.
This year’s event includes everything from a Gatsby themed Best of Texas Chefs friendly competition on Friday to a Texas Tech Polo Match with Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s on Sunday.
Saturday’s tasting festival boasts dozens of local musicians (tons of live jazz) and artists, cooking demonstrations, pop-up art galleries, over 50 food, wine, beer and spirit tasting partners and an estimated 2,500 food and drink enthusiasts – if not more! Participants will enjoy the largest assortment of Hill Country Restaurants and Texas wines, craft beers, gourmet foods and spirits available, throughout the weekend.
This classy, weekend long festivity is truly one of a kind!
