Malbec vs. Malbec Tasting Friday 3PM-5PM at Martini’s Seafood House in downtown Fredericksburg. Educational tasting led by Certified Sommelier featuring 8 unique Malbecs from different areas of the World. Compare and contrast various winemaking and aging techniques. Perfect for everyone, from novice to wine expert, and a great primer for the Saturday grand tasting event. Light snacks included. Only 50 seats available.
Private Wine Paired Steak Dinner Friday 7pm at Jack’s Chophouse in downtown Fredericksburg. Baptiste Cuvelier, from the famed winery Cuvelier Los Andes in the Uco Valley of Argentina, will present 6 of his wines- including vintage selections- over a 5 course Argentinian themed dinner expertly prepared by Chef Evan of Jack’s. Only 40 seats available.
Argentine Polo Lessons Saturday 10AM at Grapetown Vineyard. Learn to Play the Sport of Kings. Two-hour Polo Clinic- Live the experience of Argentina with the oldest family traditional sport. This two-hour clinic is a private lesson with a Polo Professional that starts at 10:00 AM and in approximately two hours will teach you the basics of polo. Guests will learn proper polo riding on a gentle polo school horse along with mallet swing instruction on our special wooden polo horse. Children are welcome, however the minimum age for the Polo Class Two Hour Instructional is 11.

Argentinian Wine Tasting Saturday Noon-2PM at Grapetown Vineyards. Take the ultimate wine tour of Argentina as we pour you dozens of amazing wines from this beautiful country. While we’ll have plenty of the ever-popular Malbec, we look forward to introducing you do an assortment of varietals including whites, rosés, and reds from multiple producers and regions. Many of these are from small production wineries and have never been served before in Texas. This is a must for any wine lover!
Grand Argentinean Tasting & VIP Farm to Table Saturday Noon – 4PM at Grapetown Vineyard. This is a VIP only experience where you will enjoy an exclusive Argentinian Wine Tasting followed by a traditional Argentinian asado dinner with a gorgeous view of the Texas Hill Country. VIP’s will have the opportunity to taste 20 exclusive Argentinian wines inside Grapetown Vineyard’s Tasting Room, along with access to dozens more in the General Admission tasting area. The VIP only tasting experience also includes the chance to meet several of the wine producers while you enjoy the delicious fruits of their labor. A full bar with beer and cocktails will be available. After the tasting, enjoy a beautiful Argentine asado dinner while as you overlook both the vineyard and polo field. You’ll have the opportunity to sit with wine producers, polo players, family, and friends while, of course, enjoying more wine. You do not want to miss out on this experience
