A truly unforgettable evening dinner experience awaits you in the Texas Hill Country! Join us for one of Fredericksburg’s top-rated experiences, hosted at Grapetown Vineyard & Farm followed by dinner and Live Music. You will enjoy two beautiful hidden gems and visit a working ranch with an animal rescue sanctuary.
First, guests will join us at 6PM at Grapetown Vineyard to experience an incredible Giraffe Experience & Wine Tasting (cocktails, beer and large wine selection also available). Depending on your ticket selection, you may enjoy a wine tasting, meet and feed a giraffe, then relax on our grass patio overlooking the Texas Hill Country. As the sun sets and you look towards the horizon, you will see kangaroos, alpacas, goats, deer, camels and even zebra! These animals are part of our extended family—many of them rescued—and their care and stories are at the heart of this experience.
Next, after your Giraffe Experience and Wine Tasting at Grapetown Vineyard, you will get ready for some Live Music and The Best Steak in Texas (not a steak eater? other items are available as well) at The Bankersmith Boil Shack! Here you will enjoy Live Music and a Show plus VIP Reserved Seating! If you are not in the mood for steak, we have you covered with options from Lobster, Snow Crab, Grilled Oysters, Catfish and More! A short drive or bike ride from Grapetown Vineyard, Bankersmith Saloon is part of the same farm property and a cherished sister location.
Beyond great wines, both locations have beer and cocktails. All details are subject to change. There are absolutely no refunds.

🕒 Giraffe Experience and Wine Tasting Length• Approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on group size and questions• If you have a time constraint, notify your guide at the start of the tour
👟 What to Know Before You Go• This is a working ranch—closed-toe shoes required (no sandals or flip-flops)• Tours take place outdoors in all weather; dress accordingly• Loose livestock roam the property—drive slowly and remain in your vehicle until parked• No pets allowed on the tour• Much of the tour is not wheelchair accessible due to gravel and grass terrain (email us in advance to discuss accommodations or private tours)
