EVENT LOCATION & PARKING: The schedule for this event will be held at TWO LOCATIONS.
LOCATION ONE: FRIDAY ALL DAY Bankersmith Saloon and Dance Hall, 7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg, Texas in a historic Texas Ghost Town called Bankersmith, Texas! Handicap parking is available onsite but limited (come early).
LOCATION TWO: SATURDAY 3PM-8PM Grapetown Tasting Room and the Fredericksburg Polo Club, 8142 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624 on our 85 acre equestrian property! All Polo, Balloon, Helicopter and Firework Activations are here!
Weather Alert: A day in the Texas Hill Country can be 110 degrees or it can be 25 degrees. It can be calm, or 60MPH wind gusts. Please come prepared to enjoy this rain or shine event! The show will go on! If weather grounds the balloons due to unsafe winds or precipitation (which has happened in the past), the event will be held inside the Grapetown Vineyard Tasting Room with Helicopter Rides in lieu of Balloon Rides.
Expectations Check: This is not a festival with hundreds of balloons. If you are looking for a festival with hundreds of balloons, or even dozens - do not come to this event. You will be disappointed. We will have 2-4 balloons on site to conduct tethered rides. They are big and beautiful when inflated (weather contingent) but we are NOT the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. Also, please note, balloons are extremely weather contingent. This is why we have incorporated helicopters. When the balloons cannot inflate, due to unsafe conditions, all Balloon rides are automatically upgraded and transferred to helicopter rides! This Balloon Bash has something for everyone and at most price points. From all inclusive VIP areas to affordable general admission passes that allow nearly full access to the property, we have a package to fit nearly every budget.

Come pre-register between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Bankersmith, Texas for the weekend! Wristband pickup will be held at Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon (7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624). Ask for Jamie and get your wristbands early so you do NOT have to wait LONG lines Friday evening or Saturday all day! Live music, drinks and food plus all our furry and feathered farm friends will be on hand at Bankersmith to greet you!

Gates open for the Balloon, Polo and Vendor Areas at Grapetown Winery for all ticketed guests to take a stroll through our small Vendor Village, purchase a tasty cocktail at the Bar and visit our delicious Food Trucks. As the winds die down the balloons will attempt to activate safely. Winds typically become more favorable by late afternoon. Helicopter rides will typically be available all day.

Grapetown Winery & Fredericksburg Polo Club
On Saturday, guests will head to the Grapetown Winery & Fredericksburg Polo Club on Saturday at 3PM (Saturday Hours 3PM-8PM). A full day of live music from 3PM-8PM. Polo (if scheduled tournament day), Live Music, Hot Air Balloons (weather contingent) and Helicopter Rides will be activated on Saturday. The music schedule on Saturday will feature live performances from 3PM-8PM in the Grapetown Winery Tasting Room, a few hot air balloons for tethered rides (will inflate when weather allows, but always weather contingent), a full bar and polo (if scheduled)! Helicopter Rides will be available from 3PM-8PM! The polo matches on Saturday will typically run from 3PM-5PM! Great food! Great drinks! Helicopter and Balloon Rides (weather contingent). Vendors and more!
POLO TROPHY PRESENTATION
(Contingent Upon Tournament Schedule) Trophy presentation to the Winning Polo Team will happen fieldside on the Ceremonial Stand! Guests will have an opportunity to take pictures with the winning polo team and The Victory Cup Trophy.Until 8 PM’ish
HOT AIR BALLOONS & HELICOPTERS
As the winds die down, the Balloons will begin to inflate (weather contingent). Gates open at Grapetown Vineyard and Farms at 12PM and Balloon Passholders can get their Helicopter or Hot Air Balloon Rides (weather contingent). Weather permitting, Hot Air Balloon Glow & Tethered Rides available. Experience these magical giants up close. A Night Glow is a gathering of hot air balloons that inflate at night. Hot Air Balloons are EXTREMELY weather contingent and may be grounded for safety or weather, therefore come prepared. If balloons are unable to activate due to safety, you can automatically upgrade to a Helicopter Ride!
